Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (coating agent), maize starch, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, maltodextrin, Lactobacillus reuteri, Lactobacillus salivarius, magnesium salts of the fatty acids (anti-caking agent), silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent), D-biotin. Contains four bacterial strains with at least 15 billion bacteria per capsule: Lactobacillus rhamnosus F-1, Lactobacillus salivarius AP-32, Lactobacillus rhamnosus CT-53, Lactobacillus reuteri TE-33.
Recommended intake
Take one capsule a day with water. Can be used on a permanent basis. If required, you can also take menoelle® Flora intim twice a day.

Maintaining healthy vaginal flora is crucial for women as it acts as a protective barrier against harmful germs. The presence of billions of diverse, beneficial lactobacilli – also known as lactic acid bacteria – ensures an acidic pH in the vagina that prevents pathogenic bacteria and fungi from growing.
This protective mechanism is essential for maintaining the health and functionality of the reproductive organs. The vaginal flora begins to develop at birth through the oral ingestion of beneficial bacteria. However, the delicate balance of vaginal flora can easily be disturbed.
Various factors such as stress, a weakened immune system, the use of medication such as antibiotics, excessive intimate hygiene or hormonal changes (for instance due to hormonal contraceptives, or during pregnancy or menopause) can lead to these vital lactobacilli being reduced and no longer capable of adequately fulfilling their protective function. This allows harmful, pathogenic bacteria and fungi such as Escherichia coli, Gardnerella vaginalis or Candida albicans to multiply easily and cause an imbalance in vaginal flora – also known as dysbiosis.
This can lead to unpleasant symptoms in the intimate region, such as itching, burning, redness or a discharge, ranging in colour from greyish-white to yellowish, that has an unpleasant odour. Infections with harmful microorganisms are often treated using antibiotics – however, this kills not only the harmful germs, but also the remaining beneficial lactobacilli. Hence it is not surprising that many women struggle with persistent problems that affect their quality of life.
When menoelle® Flora intim was developed, selecting suitable bacterial strains was of crucial importance. By means of a careful selection process, it was possible to identify precisely those four lactobacillus strains whose use has proven positive effects on vaginal flora health:
