When the menopause arrives, it brings quite a few changes with it. It typically starts between the ages of 40 and 60. During the menopause, there are significant changes in the way the body produces hormones. This is a natural process, but it can be associated with a number of uncomfortable symptoms such as hot flushes, occasional excessive sweating, fatigue and tiredness that can have a negative effect on quality of life.
Get to know the different phases: the premenopause, the perimenopause, the menopause and the postmenopause.
During the early phase (i.e. the premenopause), changes in monthly periods are the main focus. Menstruation may occur more irregularly or be heavier and monthly cycles are initially shorter before becoming longer later on. During the premenopause, women often also experience mood swings, insomnia and tenderness in the breasts.
During the actual menopause (i.e. the perimenopause), the increasing hormonal changes mainly manifest themselves in hot flushes and excessive sweating, along with mood swings, internal restlessness and sleep problems.
Hot flushes and excessive sweating are among the most common symptoms of the menopause and are the body’s way of reacting to changes in hormone levels. The tiresome episodes are usually only short and can occur several times a day.
Women tend to sleep lighter, not just during the menopause, where many women complain about ongoing insomnia. A lack of restful sleep can result in daytime drowsiness, lack of concentration and irritability.
Mood swings and depressive moods are experienced by 30 to 40% of women during the menopause. The changing life circumstances can be strenuous and hormonal changes can also disrupt mental balance.
Vaginal dryness is something experienced by around half of all women during and after the menopause. The vaginal mucosa loses its natural moisture, becomes more sensitive, is more easily irritated and may burn or itch.
Did you know that the menopause is associated with around 60 different symptoms? While some of them are typical for the menopause, such as hot flushes, others can occur in all phases of a women’s life, such as insomnia.

With less severe menopausal complaints, herbal remedies that promise gentle and hormone-free therapy free from side effects are worth a try. Various approaches are available to choose from, with some well-tested, while others fall short.

I didn’t know what to do anymore and then along came menoelle. Thank you to dm for selling such a great product!
I’ve been taking the capsules for a year now and I am fully satisfied. Since then, I’ve had next to no hot flushes… it’s great!!
I’ve been taking menoelle for almost 1 year and I won’t be changing that. menoelle works really well – all my unpleasant side effects are gone. It’s also great to finally have a product that doesn’t contain any titanium dioxide. I take menoelle every day – sometimes even 3 or 4 tablets.
My doctor prescribed me with menoelle and I’m delighted. I first bought the product at the pharmacy and then came across it in dm. The effect is simply phenomenal – I could barely cope with hot flushes and mood swings and now they’ve levelled out again.
Great product, everything I wanted. I’ve become calmer, I’m not experiencing as many hot flushes, occasional excessive sweating at night, I feel more relaxed. Overall, the symptoms have become much more tolerable. I recommend it to any women who don’t want to take hormones. A great preparation.
The product was everything I expected. I was having hot flushes all day and sweating excessively at night. After taking it for a week, I feel a lot better… I would definitely buy it again!
Thank you thank you thank you! Since menoelle, I’ve finally got my hot flushes under control. I’m so happy, would absolutely recommend.
