For the treatment and prevention of vaginal dryness and vaginal burning
menoelle® OVULA MED HYDRO+ are hormone-free vaginal suppositories featuring HALOVA® technology, combining deep hydration with care for the vaginal flora. Sodium hyaluronate (5 mg) binds many times its weight in water, providing intense moisture to the vaginal mucosa and supporting its regeneration. Prebiotic xylitol (3 mg) supports a healthy, *Lactobacillus*-dominated vaginal flora.
Aloe vera, calendula, and vitamin E soothe, nourish, and protect the sensitive mucosa. The product is hormone-free and involves no systemic absorption, making it suitable for use when hormonal preparations are not an option (e.g., following breast cancer or during anti-hormonal therapy). It is eliminated from the body within a maximum of 24 hours.
Areas of application: vaginal dryness (e.g., during menopause, postpartum, after surgery, or during/after chemotherapy or radiotherapy), vulvovaginal atrophy / Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM), pain during sexual intercourse or urination, and pH imbalances.
Insert one vaginal suppository deep into the vagina daily in the evening while lying down.
For prevention: 10–15 days.
For atrophy: 10 days per month for 3 months; can be repeated for maintenance.
Hormone-free · no systemic absorption · eliminated within a maximum of 24 hours.
Combination tip: Use HYDRO+ as a 10-day course of treatment, followed by menoelle® GEL for daily maintenance. This combination therapy is documented in the HALOVA® study.
